About The Owner

As a young girl, Paws for Comfort owner Mary Beth Rock was an animal lover and had the usual assortment of pets such as cats, dogs, and goldfish. As an adult, she was fortunate enough to work in the veterinary field as well as volunteer for a no-kill shelter and low-cost spay and neuter organization, continuing her passion for animals.

After completing her college degree, Mary Beth left the veterinary field to pursue a more traditional corporate career. After several years in this field, she decided to return to some sort of animal-related work. It was through Divine Intervention she met Donna Boyer, the owner of All Four Paws pet sitting services, who was moving from the area and in need of someone to care for her "four legged friends." The rest is history.
